These women show dedication in their day-to-day work, and we hope to not only highlight them as part of celebrating this month, but to also celebrate their well-deserved success. They also all happen to be our clients, so be jealous that we get to spend our work hours with such fascinating female founders!

NAWBO, or the National Association of Women Owned Businesses, is an organization that propels women business owners into greater economic, social, and political spheres of power worldwide. It has made 45 years of impact, after being founded in 1975. Their website features inspiring blogs, monthly digital publications, and all the tools you’ll need if you’re wanting to become a member. The San Antonio chapter’s Executive Administrator, Graciela Urruchua, has worked tirelessly to promote and grow the company in amazing ways through her dedication in the organization. HIT CEO Aquila Mendez-Valdez also serves as their Marketing Chair, so you’ll often see her at their various events. Jenn Newell, founder of Betty’s Co., has created a fun and woman-empowering brand that focuses on gynecology, mental health, and lifestyle wellness. Their vision focuses on what the next generation of women’s healthcare can be, and they are doing a fantastic job of making it something great! Betty’s Co. has also just launched their ‘Betty’s mobile boutique clinic’, which brings the care to you. Along with their mobile care clinic, they’ve launched some must-have merch. In Our Arms
A familiar name, yes, but we had to highlight Juli from In Our Arms once more for all the amazing work that she does. In Our Arms Blog was created to share the story of Robert, Juli’s son, who passed away after being diagnosed with, and battling, a rare CHD2 variant and mitochondrial disorder. Juli’s blog and company have grown to be able to connect families and bring attention to medically complex individuals in our communities. Along with her blog, Juli is a teacher to voice students, runs a Facebook Community Group, and an Instagram account that features some of the work she’s been doing like her Valentine’s Day Kind Cards. So cute!
