I’m Christie Schultz, and I am thrilled to launch Haute in Austin!

Entrepreneurs have a special place in my heart. As the daughter of a serial entrepreneur and trailblazer in the promotions industry, I was answering phones, returning quotes, and submitting purchase orders by age eight.

From its earliest days, I was fascinated by the power and possibility for brands online. Sensing the transformative cusp we were approaching as social media emerged, I founded and ran two media and networking companies through their life cycles, from a hobby, through a merger, then an acquisition of a competing company, and on to a successful exit. During my leadership, these companies expanded globally, became Fortune 500 brand destinations, and we were honored by Forbes Magazine as a Top 10 Websites for Entrepreneurial Women. Pioneering new media such as Twitter chats and fusion events, a precursor to podcasts, we expanded the reach of our advertisers and member businesses exponentially.

Leveraging these skills, I then launched my consulting practice creating digital marketing and business development strategies. Over the past decade, I developed strategies for businesses, non-profits, and political campaigns, often exceeding their revenue goals. Above all, I am most gratified for the role I’ve been fortunate enough to have in catapulting dozens of diverse, incredible entrepreneurs to manifest their dreams.

Marketing and public relations are among the most critical and exciting aspects of any business. I like to think that creativity is my superpower- from business development strategy to press release copy, and from logo design to ad placement.

Alongside my role with Haute, I am the Managing Director for the eWomenNetwork Greater Austin Chapter, an invaluable community for talented, passionate business women in the Austin area.

A few fun facts about me… I’m the mom of four amazing humans ranging from Kindergarten to college, and two dogs. I’m a two-time marathon finisher, I’m a Native Austinite, and have earned my “NAFTA” badge- having lived in Canada, Mexico, and the US. I’m on a mission with my kids to visit all National Parks and all 50 states. I’m a bit of a volunteer junkie, serving on countless boards and volunteer roles for schools, church, and community organizations over the past decades including my kids’ high school business incubator program, where I am longtime mentor and coach.

I am so excited to launch Haute in Austin and can’t wait to work with the best entrepreneurs on the planet, right here in Central Texas!
