Since 2011, Haute in Texas has existed as a work-from-home business. Starting as a blog written from my living room couch, but even as we grew into a full-service agency in 2014 I wanted to keep work remote for my own sanity, juggling babies and still traveling for Orlando’s basketball seasons. Fast forward to 2022 and our team has grown into a full roster of women who are, as we say, all in pursuit of the haute life. We grew an astounding NINETY FIVE percent YOY in 2022, and our client line-up continues to expand with projects and people we are passionate about supporting with innovative PR and Marketing strategies. With that growth has come a need for our team to get together with our clients on occasion, and I also started to feel a pull to have a place I could call HIT Headquarters. We’d looked for co-working spaces in the past, but none were a great fit due to travel time, expense, or frankly just boring or uninspiring surroundings.

But all that changed a few months ago when I toured a friend and colleague’s office space in the Dominion. It was literally five minutes from home, at a price point we could manage, and wasn’t biting off more space than we could figuratively chew. I still don’t foresee HIT ever becoming an agency that forces our team members to sit at a desk from 9-5, so we didn’t need a ton of cookie cutter cubicles all lined up in a row. We just needed a light and bright space to call our own. Though it still felt scary, we signed the lease and moved in this past December, and it’s been a whirlwind ever since. I’ve been having a TON of fun decorating, curating a creative space that highlights our brand identity and puts our best foot forward when clients and prospects come to visit. Who knew how fun it would be to pick out office chairs and wallpaper?!

We’re very lucky to have the support of the Boerne Chamber Commerce to help us celebrate with a ribbon cutting on January 24th, and we’d love to have you join us to see the new HIT headquarters! We’ll have bites and bubbly provided by Jason Dady Catering, and of course with every Chamber event there will be great networking opportunities to mingle and mix. We hope to see you there, and can’t thank you enough for your support of our growth. Here’s to continued opportunities for all of us to serve others in 2023.

XO,

A
